Welcome in a chinese placeby HarlequinComment: Looks like you chose to shoot at the same locale as another entry.
I think this photo would do better as a 16:10 landscape crop. I would crop the top down to the far end of the path....leaving out all the "christmas lights". |

Iced Twistby radarbratComment: Great twist on the customary "CFL bulb" shot (pun intended)
I think I would try using a deeper DoF to pull the rear twists into focus. |

Childhood Wondersby eqsiteComment: Great composition and exposure! I would maybe play with the white balance a bit and warm it up a tad. |

a basic worklightby briantammyComment: I like this photo a lot! Great exposure.
I do think you need either a little more lamp or little more human. Right now you are not quite equal, with a bit more lamp offsetting the photo.
I think it would be best to bring the lamp back a few inches, and include just a lil' more human so that the space between them is in the center of the photo.
I do think it would also work to have unequal amounts of one subject or the other. It would just need to be 2/3 of one and 1/3 of the other. |

rtfshl ltby ChequeComment: I think it was smart to use a monochromatic sceme in this photo. |

Fountain of lightby marboComment: Great exposure and comp! I would just crop a bit off the right side of the photo. |

Hypnosisby browda1Comment: I would adjust the hue and white balance in this photo.
It seems there is an animal or something causing a distracting motion blur coming off the arm of the couch.
Also, There is now clear subject in this photo. I'm not sure where or what to look at. |
