This is a great shot, the background contrasts perfectly with the hair and the shirt, (I like that shirt, by the way :) ) The background also brings out the beautiful blue eye. The lighting is wonderful not too harsh. Over all a wonderful portrait.

What a wonderfully colorful subject ! Wonderful facial expression, great tones, the lighting is a little harsh on the side of the face leaving a strong shadow on the other side of the face, other than that I love this shot, it is a delightfully natural image. Congrats!

Wonderful concept, and a great set up , a little dark, the colors are perfect. and I like the halo effect in the background, this would have been a phenominal shot if it had been a little brighter. I would definitely consider doing this again if I were you, (in another challenge) a little brighter an you would have a winner! 7

Wonderful capture, love the background ! The stern look on the face certainly portrays the seriousness of a photographer after his capture :), I would like to have seen the whole face more accentuated, a slight shadow on the right side, (the subject's left side) great tones. I like it !
