Elmsley Passby rooumComment: Ten! But man... that border makes the shot!!! Totally gives it that sixties country club, card playing, gin and tonic drinking vibe! |

Omegaby BrennanOBComment: Great shape and I do like the processing. You showed the metal pipe well with the reflected light enhancing the shine. The clouds were really over sharpened here as there appears to be some jpg artifacting. They look a little unnatural as I have never seen clouds so jagged before. Keeping the sky masked in your sharpening process could have helped. |

metallurgyby tnunComment: Just a little too simple here in my opinion. Nothing is defined and there is no real subject. Somewhat abstract, the photo does lack any textures or other indicators to help it link to your title of matallurgy. |

punkby FourPointXComment: You got the dark shot and a rugged subject for that grunge look, but what brings this down for me is in the processing. You didn't really get and texture shown. What you got was a lot of noise grain. Also the fringing from the extreme HDR needs to be taken care of in post. There are nice tutorials out there to get that done. |

Waiting For Full Serviceby VenserComment: You chose a nice shooting angle for this but I think the composition suffers a bit form lack of a more defined foreground. You only have the two layers which is the subject in the foreground and the sky/treeline in the background. It does seem a little dark and grey overall which is probably what you were going for in this challenge. The scene is lacking in contrast which is due to the overcast sky and the lack of shadow. |

Rainy Afternoonby dtallaksonComment: I really like this shot. It has a photo impressionism quality to it. Unfortunately this was the grunge challenge. I just don't think the subject of the photo or the processing came off as grungy. |

Backwoods Travelerby glad2badadComment: I think you went a little heavy on the HDR and the sharpening here. Also the white vignetter really stands out a bit too much. You did do a good job of making the subject stand out from such a busy background. |
