crawlby jmritzComment: A little too much negative space here. Perhaps get closer to the subject. |

Half-Staff by CuttoothComment: Oh say can you see... great light!! Love how you exposed for the highlights with that super high shutter speed and let the rest of the darker tones fall where they may! Also the vignetting in post helped the mood tremendously! Nice work! |

Specialtyby bjoernComment: This looks a little soft due to being handheld at slower shutter speed. |

Juanita Banana's Last Supperby jagarComment: Nice use of small focal length to control the proportions of the subject. The hands and the bananas look gigantic compared to the head. A minor critique would be to point out the loss of detail in the highlights on the top surface of the bananas. Everywhere else has nice detail in the shadows/highlights. |

Curvesby TiberiusComment: Solid attempt! I like how you controlled the specular highlight on the top-left edge of the front banana. |

Musa in Reposeby vawendyComment: I like the grain, the textured background and the nice long shadow. A minor critique would be to say that it is a little on the bright side, but you did get detail in the shadows and the highlights indicating a good exposure. |

small cottageby MonaComment: You got good color, sharpness, exposure, a lot of contrast and an off center subject. Unfortunately the subject is rather mundane and the photo is lacking a dynamic aspect such as motion, extreme depth of field, etc. |

Oops!by KelliComment: I never thought to combine the grungy, contrasty look with a baby photo. That would be another thing wrong! LOL! |

New Growthby AmmieComment: It could be an otical illusion, but to me the horizon seems to be tilted to the right. The mountain is sloping that way I know, but it just seems to be off rotation. Looking at the tree trunks, they appear to all be leaning right. |
