I really like the soft, hazy landscape here. Compositionally, the trail is leading me away from the spot where I want to look, which is over at the houses where all the detail is. The focal point of the image at the end of the trail is brightly lit but doesn't have much detail to look at. Overall, I think the scene is underexposed.

The suns light leads right into the circular cove and nestles in there. I would have increased my score for a little more of the edge of the cove at the bottom of the frame and for dealing with the halo lighting at the edge of the hill.
