Not only blanched, totally cooked. I know you were going for minimal details, but I think this is very overexposed and even in a high key photo there has to be some contrast and detail. I think this is a little low in contrast and detail.

Super cute little girl! Her big brown almond eyes are so beautiful! Here I think the center part of the shot is a bit overexposed. I think you could have brought that down a quarter stop or a half. I love her cute outfit and Ugg Boots!

Wonderful viewpoint for this challenge. I think the composition would have been made stronger with a better use of the rule of thirds. Another possibility could have been to put her dead center with a square crop.

Nice fit to the challenge. I like the rich, dark tones in the wood in contrast with the bright fruit. Did you consider a square crop? I think that would have made the photo a little stronger.

Oh wow! This has an awesome 3D effect to it. The layers of the mechanical parts, the lines, shapes and textures, and the rendering of the mettalic parts is incredible! This is a real piece of art! Have you shared this with Yo_Spiff?

GREETINGS FROM THE COMMENT BOMB SQUAD!

JUST GOING THROUGH YOUR PORTFOLIO STOPPING AT IMAGES THAT CATCH MY EYE THAT DON'T ALREADY HAVE A LARGE AMOUNT OF COMMENTS. THIS IMAGE IS A REALLY COOL STILL LIFE THAT IS FITTING FOR A MAGAZINE AD. IT HAS NICE LIGHT AND I LIKE THE SIMILARITY OF ALL THE OBJECTS PLACED TOGETHER ON THE RICH DARK WOOD OF THE FURNITURE.

WELL DONE.

GREETINGS FROM THE COMMENT BOMB SQUAD!

I AM JUST GOING THROUGH YOUR PORTFOLIO STOPPING AT IMAGES THAT CATCH MY EYE WHICH ALSO HAVEN'T HAD MANY PREVIOUS COMMENTS. I ENJOY THIS SHOT AS AN EXAMPLE OF YOUR SIGNATURE STYLE WITH IT'S SQUARE CROP WHERE THE SUBJECT FILLS THE FRAME! HERE THE COLORS AND CONTRAST AND TEXTURE OF THE FOB REALLY STAND OUT AS THE KEY ELEMENTS OF THE PHOTO. I LOVE THE ANTIQUE DETAILS EMBOSSED ON THE FACE AND IT REALLY HAS GREAT CHARACTER! YOU HAVE SHOWED IT WELL HERE!

GREETINGS FROM THE COMMENT BOMB SQUAD!

I AM JUST GOING THROUGH YOUR PORTFOLIO STOPPING AT IMAGES THAT HAVEN'T RECIEVED TOO MANY COMMENTS AND I FOUND THIS WONDERFUL SHOT OF PELICANS. I LOVE THE CRISP BLUE COLOR OF THE WATER THAT ALLOWS THE NEUTRAL TONED PELICANS TO REALLY STAND OUT. PLACING THE SHORE LINE AS LOW AS YOU DID HELPED IN THAT TOO. COMPOSITIONALLY, THIS IS AN EXELLENT USE OF THE RULE OF THREE, PHOTOGRAPHING THREE OF ANY SUBJECT CREATING A MORE DYNAMIC SCENE. THERE IS ALSO SOME HUMOR AS SUGGESTED BY YOUR TITLE AND THE FACT THAT THE PELICANS ARE EACH LOOKING IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS!

WELL DONE HERE!

GREETING FROM THE COMMENT BOMB SQUAD!

I REALLY LOVED YOUR ORIGINAL "AGAVE BLUE" PHOTO, BUT I THINK I ENJOY BLUESTONE BLUE A TOUCH MORE. I HAVE JUST STARTED INVESTIGATING DUOTONES AND I THINK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE HERE GIVES THE PLANT A SOFT CHALKY BLUE HUE. AND BECAUSE IT IS A DUOTONE, IT WILL EASILY BE ABLE TO BE HUNG ON A WALL AS A ACCENT PIECE IN A ROOM AND REALLY POP OFF THE WALL! THIS WOULD BE WONDERFUL AS A PART OF A SERIES OF DUOTONES!

WELL DONE!
