I like this shot for the particular challenge. I think the treatment you gave it is great to bring out all the texture in the tree trunk. I like how that contrasts with the softer, puffy clouds. You definitely have the right viewpoint here. I am not sure if you vignetted this but the clouds look a little dark around the edges. This might have been a bit better if the edges showing the clouds were brighter. Nice shot for the challenge!

I am just going through your portfolio finding those images that don't have many comments and I happened upon this glowing gem of a young lady!

I love the way you have posed her. She is very delicate and feminine looking. Only thing to even look at in the future is the position of her left hand on the block. I read somewhere that ladies should show off the side edge of their hands for feminimity. So have her turn that left hand 90 degrees. The hand over her leg is fine in my opinion. I think her eyes were brightened just a bit too much. Her skin is very well done, smooth and bright. I think the white balance is good. THis would be a good candidate for a nice vignette to bring the focal point right to her by darkening the edges a touch. Overall, well done!

I think most of thee texture is lost in the blur! Nice light but too much blur for this type of challenge IMO.
