Week #3 - Coco and the Paper Towel Rollby colorcarnivalComment: Very sweet pet portrait! The paper towels only serve to add content to the photo. I especially like the lighting on the face. I can see a little noise in the background, but the subject isn't noisy at all.

Mr. Coffee by Brent_SComment: Very excellent use of the background rug to create the face! Looks very cool! |

The Lookoutby marbroComment: I like the flash bounced of the "eyes". It gives this "robot" a powered on feel. (Like it is alive!) The only piece of criticism I can think to say is that I feel the foreground is not too much lighter than the background which makes it not stand out so much. |

Smiling Renaissance Luteby bcrantsComment: I think instead of showing the whole lute, you could have zoomed in to show only the face making it have much more effect. I think you could have kept the same angle. |

Happiness at the end of the dayby paynekjComment: Too funny. I think Groucho Marx when I see these clouds. I think the photo is somewhat dark though I don't see how it could have been done any other way because the comedic effect comes in the contrast between the pink and black clouds. |

Spirited Gestureby rodfulkComment: Good vision in seeing the face! You got great even lighting and avoided any harsh shadows showing great technique though it is lacking in depth. I think it lacks a little of what flickr calls interestingness due to the whole shot consisting mostly of wood... |
