Through the Tubeby Virginia LeoneComment: Very creative shot! Every shot has a perspective, even if it is shot straight on. This would have much more effective as a perspective composition if the inside of the tube was actually visible and we could see the textures and shape of the tube leading to the scene at the end. What you have shown here is more of a negative space type composition with a selective focus rather than a perspective view. |

s c a p e # 7 6 7by rooumComment: Very interesting shot here for composition and color. This perspective keeps the abstract feel even though this is more revealistic.
(At least now I know what the I was looking at when I checked out your B&W abstracts in the PAW 2010 thread!!)

That's Not Ice Cream!by ryandComment: I think this was very underappreciated by the voters. You should have placed much higher in my opinion! Nice job. I gave it a 10! |

Poppyby MelethiaComment: It's just like a painting! I love the overlay and the dual colors. It's perfect photo-impressionism! |

Week 6 - Around the House - Rainy Day Pondby dtallaksonComment: I am really beginning to see your signature style coming through for this series. Dark and colorful this shot carries the deep tones and rich color you have captured in your previous images without the recognizable subject. Nicely abstract! |

Week 6 - City Streetsby PennyStreetComment: You've gone back to Black and white, which is great! I love your color shots so far but enjoy the composition here with the curved line taking you right through the scene. |

Day 4by salmiakkiComment: I just wanted to sum up my comments on your week of tree shots with one comment on this image. I love them all. You have shown very consistent work with all the tree images, which shows your level of skill with the camera. I like that the colors are even, you have used just the right exposure to make the tree trunks slightly darker and nicely saturated while getting that nice bright white background. Also, I like that the amount of blur is slight; that there is still an amount of realism in the photo's. Message edited by author 2010-02-07 12:45:46. |

Come on in, the water's fineby rodgers_leComment: THis could have really benefited from having a person in the photo. Even if someone was standing at the edge of the pool faking it it would have really added a whole dimension to the picture. |

In Cold Bloodby MinsoPhotoComment: Here's some things that stand out about this picture. You got a bowl of ice water on a doily with some orange stuff in it. It doesn't make a very compelling subject. Throw in a bloody hand or some fingers at least! The white balance is off quite a bit as everything has a blueish tint to it. Otherwise creative with the title, but a little too macabre for my taste. |
