Oneby k9logicComment: I don't know if you were attempting a silhouette through your post processing technique, but it came out with a red band around the outline of the branch. I am assuming this is the inverted chromatic abberation which means that this probably has some blown highlights which you tried to compensate for with the posterization. Unfrtunately, I will be one of your low voters. |

Untitledby SEGComment: Kudos for trying to be unique however I think whatever technique you used in your processing does not appeal to me very much. I think you were going for some kind of cold IR process but really you lost all the detail in the trees. It is interesting for it's shape and composition though. Unfortunately, I am going to be one of your low voters. |

waiting at the local branchby jonksterComment: The pose and the boy in the tree give this a sort of Tom Sawyer storyline to the photo which adds interest however, I think the boy should really be facing you to make this much more interesting, even if he is looking out and not directly at the camera. The B&W conversion is good and really shows off the texture of the tree but it kind of mutes the boy into a dull grey. |

Dead But Not Gone by vladoComment: Outstanding photo! There is only one critique I could give and that is to lose the extra space on the left of the tree. I know it fits that High Definition crop ratio but I don't see it serving a purpose. There would be greater definition and texture showing on the tree if it were closer and filled in the frame a bit more. |

Wherever my heart goes, my song will followby JudiComment: Reminds me of a movie called "The Gods Must Be Crazy". He would have to have a bottle of Coke with him though. But the picture is vibrant and colorful. The tree is cool and I am glad you put a person in the image to give it something more! |
