Had to revisit this one to see what caused the blur. I now see it is not the f stop but it was the shutter speed. 1/25 hand held probably. Very slow shutter to use handheld. I have heard that the rule of thumb for handholding a shot is 1/focal length. So for a 50mm lens your longest shutter speed hand held should be about 1/50. Keep on shooting! |

All Silent Save the Dripping Rainby bcrantsComment: A very good line created with the wall. I like the way it leads to the boy but he seems somewhat far away and there is some detail lost in his face. Overall the photo is fairly grey, but the boy stands out well from that. |
