Meets the challenge. Good eye for seeing the stripes. You did well with the exposure. This everyday scene was shot well, but I don't know how one would make it interesting enough.

I am going to guess this as an entry from cutout though I may be wrong. I find this image to be very nostalgic and a mix between film noir and dark comic books. I do like it. I think it fits the challenge very well and though I can't give any relevant critique I will definitely give it a like!

Throw a person in dark clothes in there somewhere and the score goes up a few points. It would really add to the story line.

This is a great portrait indicative of the old hollywood glamour style. It does not have enough contrast for me. The lighting is a tad too diffuse for the noir stlye.

Cool. Shot over in Iowa I presume! Nice angle of view to show the car. Good blacks and a great highlight on the window from the single light source. Only thing missing is that great looking picker gal draped over the hood!

Super camera angle very indicative of the dutch angles of film noir. Good lighing and processing. The spiral is a great shape for this genre! Adds that bizarre, melodramatic flair!

Great depth using different lighting intensity at each level! You really separated the model from the background. One thing I am curious about is the graininess of the subject that appears to be different than the background...

It looks like a cut right out of a movie... also looks like it was taken with film. Good depth. I think the focus adds authenticity.

I like the use of the hair light to outline your shape. The key light on the mouth is good. A little bit of smoke would have put this over the top!!
