Is there a support group for all the water drop and the glass people? Every challenge has these type of pictures. You can make them fit anything!! When in doubt, shoot a glass or a splash, or hey, combine them both!!!

Now that my rant is over you have great lighting and color and splash and it fits the Challenge nicely! Lose the mirror's edge if possible.

Good colors and nice use of DoF to put the focal point right where it needs to be!! The background elements don't take away from the subject and serve to add a much needed context! Apples and cinnamon are a yummy combination!

Nice soft focus effect! A crop of the right side would give you nicely centered subjects for an 8x10 image suitable for any parents wall!! If you wanted to keep them offset in the frame, the subjects would be better shown on the right side of the frame leaving the left side empty given their angled composition. I think the only other thing to watch out for, which is probably not an issue for your full size image, is the stray hairs. Re-sizing has given the stray hairs the .jpg jaggies. But a beautiful child portrait for sure and very suitable for framing!

You got a really good splash and shape to the crown. However, the focus totally missed the crown. I think a little tighter aperture would have helped you bring the whole scene into focus. I would have liked to see a whiter surrounding to make the purple stand out more. The creamy or grey color is not very complimentary to the purple.

It looks like the focus is on his hand rather than his face. If you were shooting incognito then the photo is great for trying not to be noticed.
