This is great! I like the soft focus and all the red color! I am on the fence with the dress color. (I take it this shot was staged and not happened upon.) I think it is somewhat neutral and could stand to be a complementary color for added pop! And give that gal a sweater... it's fall out there ya know!!! lol.

Good Selective Desat. I would like to see it with the green lawn to compare because I think that the red leaves would pop off of that as well. BUt here, the greytone background gives it the emotion/impact of a B&W image with the pop of color to give it that fall foliage flare!!

Funny that you entered a B&W image for a challenge that for all intents and purposes is about color. But the title of the challenge is ambiguous enough to make it about foliage in general which makes this image a perfect fit. I like the light and darkness in the image and the clouds show great movement and lead my eye right to the foliage on the tree which is silhouetted nicely showing off good detail.

I think my #1 issue with this picture is that your driving on the wrong side of the car!!!!! lol.... No seriously, it is a tad dark and could use a bit more light. It also could use a bit more blur. So a touch longer shutter speed could have achieved both more light and more blur. However it is super sharp where it needs to be and the colors are great!
