Childhood - in memoriamby ssComment: Great shot. I have some outtakes of the same idea! Trouble you may get is that you have no distortion or colors created from the transparency. I'm not marking the shot down for that but my wife (the subject for my version that I did not submit) made mention of that reviewing these photos. My top 10 this week. ....hokie |

Through the Looking Glassby indigo997Comment: Incredibly well thought out. Light of the small child, the white, the blond hair and the juxtaposition of the dark older woman..all behind a veil. Very artsy interpretation of the challenge and one of my 10 best. hokie |

wonder in wonderland ...by magnetic9999Comment: Yah!! Kollin. I must say Kollin, this model owes you a great debt because this is one nice photo you gave her. I am not one to mess with a photograph..it is what it is. But I wonder what she would have looked like laying on a white background..allowing her hair to really be seen. Would have it ruined the nice , dark shadows? Hard to say. But I find this photo very good regardless. |

Battleshipby #1 Bronco FanComment: Interesting use of angles here. Your camera seems to be letting you down with all the noise, Digital cameras are very sensitive to light conditions and less expensive digitals especially. You saved this photo at the 150k limit so I am assuming this is a problem with low lighting and too much gamma correction in the computer. A good rule is that you can't really save bad lighting in photo editing by more than maybe a couple of steps before noise and other junk starts to mess with your photo. But good idea though. |

Hide 'n' Peekby iraeComment: Probably my favorite shot this week. Very nice use of Black and White and the shot has a Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe effect on me. The trees look very mystical and the child gives that innocent look that begs childrens fiction. I am guessing who this photographer is. Interesting to see if I am right. |

Through the looking glass by CoreyComment: Best of the water glass shots, and that is saying something since I contributed a water glass shot this week. You have a better depth of field than any other and great idea of upside element. One of my ten best. |
