Nice entry for this challenge and it looks like the CW tag is working, you got a lot of helpful comments during voting.

The very first thing I noticed is that is face is covered. At least his mouth is showing but if his entire face was visible the picture would have much more emotion and connect to everyone who has been in a situation like this.

I like the mountains in the back. I realize it probably wasn't possible but would have liked the background to be less cluttered, the houses, basketball court and some of the ramps. As someone else suggested a lower angle would help to isolate your subject.

Hmm I thought you might have finished higher than this. I thought you had a rather well lighted subject with a clear idea of what you were selling. Love the way the colours all match. If there was one thing I would change that would be to include all of the CD. You included the most important parts in the picture but it's noticeable that the very bottom is excluded. All the best in future challenges!

Hey tehben! This was similar to an idea I had, I was going to use Labatt's Max Ice and put it surrounded by ice cube chunks. Didn't work out. Anywho this was a great idea. It's just not very exciting though. It's lacking a certain flair. I did give it a 6 though, and all those beer pictures were making me thirsty. It might just be me but I would have liked to see the beer going from bottom left to top right. I find it easier to read in this direction / than in this \. This critique has turned into nonsensical ramblings so I'll stop now. I think overall you have a good average picture. You can tell this also from your votes, you haven't received any votes at either of the extremes with most at 5 and 6. Congratulations on your new third highest rated picture! "Angel's Embrace" (CW)

Greetings from the Critique Club!

First Impression: I feel that this just wasn't interesting enough, especially when compared to many very high quality images in this challenge.

Composition: Someone mentioned that the white background makes it seems that it is floating in nothingness. This works with it being an angel. Centered composition works fine for this angel.

Subject: I can picture this in a catalog advertising Christmas or Christian decorations. Unfortunately it just didn't have enough wow factor to get those higher votes.

Technical: To me the statue looks too dark. There's a lot of detail in all the cracks, or little edges.
