Day Oneby LMA128Comment: I quite like the photo in terms of composition, tone and the depth of field, lovely. I don't know what you are trying to do with the overlay though. My take on overlays is that they should add to the shot while not covering up the main features. Here I think I would either go for something rather soft as in a dream or go over the top and give it a real goth feel. |

could not ask for moreby photokariangelComment: really good job with the conversion and the border. I like the symmetry of the lamp posts coming up from her shoulders. It looks like it was a really bright day esp with all that snow so the model is squinting a little bit which detracts from the shot a little bit and I cannot think of an easy way to avoid it in those conditions normally I would use a diffuser to block the sunlight, here I doubt that would work. |

Dhanrajby bnileshComment: I really like these types of portraits, makes me want to travel so I can go meet these interesting people and take their portraits. I really like your depth of field, i think you may have missed focusing on the eyes as they don't look as sharp as the rest of the face. Of course he may have cataracts. It is good to see that you lit this side on, maybe the use of a reflector would have helped as well.
You should also try a mono conversion of this as his beard will look spectacular in it. |

Predatorby kingskingdomComment: lovely mood in this shot. It would have been nice if you have got the bid a little bit tighter. |

puddle of mudby LutchenkoComment: nice studio shot, i dont know about the hand position though. I may have tried to not block so much of her face. Maybe even use the hand to frame the face with her index finger blocking the part in her hair |

The first cut is the deepestby kingskingdomComment: I really like the pose and the thought behind the shot. I am not so keen on the post production work, for me I feel like you have over done it and you are lacking detail in the hair. This could have happened from you over smoothing or using negative clarity if this was a raw capture. |

Slimy snailsby tinkie2010Comment: really interesting angle with an interesting use of dof, I would have liked to have seen it slightly bigger to cover more of the snail but i guess you needed the fast shutter speed maybe a ring flash would have helped. |

cut to the boneby ConnorComment: nice shot it really conveys that all to said fact about many of todays marriages. I feel that the shot is slightly under exposed as the blade looks more grey then metallic. Also be carful of finger prints when you are taking macro shots. |

Little Bricks of Loveby sheila99Comment: while this shot is sentimental I don't then it is the best angle. I would have got down lower or used some other angle that you would not normally view the bricks from maybe even include some of the back ground or some one walking by. |
