The Rusty Fishing Boats by franktheyankComment: It's a tough environment for these boats... Reminds me of our periodic trips to New Bedford when we're always drawn to the piers to look at and photograph the fishing boats. Great capture of their wonderful colors and form/shape (voted earlier). |

Ghostlingby RKTComment: Looking at this challenge for the first time. This one really grabs my attention. Love it. Your nephew clearly got into the spirit of the shot! |

The Backhoeby Bear_MusicComment: I guess we might as well make the most of documenting what's happening around us since what Robert didn't tell you is that we are about to experience simultaneously a house being built directly across the street (this photo shows that process underway), a cottage being demolished and replaced by a 2-story house right next to us with the closest wall of that building being 25 feet from our bedroom windows (and we are not usually early risers) and our road being torn up to replace an aging gas line (for which we should be thankful as we heard it was in poor condition when it had to be repaired outside our house due to a leak 18 months ago). I work from home.. I think I better invest in some "noise cancelling" headphones. Robert's experience of course will be somewhat different.. Message edited by author 2012-11-11 21:04:45. |

Open Cup Mushroom / e301by hajekaComment: Interesting textures here but the stalk dominates the image far more than it did in the original to its detriment IMO. I do like the ridge and patterns in the lower left corner. |
