Looks like she was a beauty in her time.

Lovely composition. One's eye is drawn along the boat, through the village, and off into the hills. But most of all I love the detail of the stones, the flaking paint, and the seaweed in the lower third of the image which taken together ground the boat in place. The seaweed over the stern and port gunnel suggest that she no longer floats at high tide. Altogether a lovely and intriguing image. Hope it ribbons. Thanks.

Just browsing at the moment, but I recognize this from my visit to Chicago a few years ago. It was like a magnet for the kids then. Lovely capture of the girl in the red and white dress mid stride.
