Great catch. Since joining DPC I have come to appreciate, and now enjoy observing "live", the amazing shapes and extension that birds' wings reach during flight.

You commented I tend to notice shapes & shadows before I notice color, especially while using a camera or in PP... I would add noticing textures to that, which I think is something that you obviously enjoy too based on this image. The two layers work really well together.
