Such interesting shapes. I'm a big fan of the possibilities in tree bark. Voted earlier. This was my top scoring image.

That's the kind of image I was hoping for! A close up of textures, a lovely sense of shapes/contours, and the stem holding it all together.

I'd be curious to find out how this was lit.

It's strange how the writing on the wrappers looks like it is facing "inwards", so from the outside you have to read it backwards. I suspect you flipped the image horizontally, that will mess with any text! Ignoring that I like the directness and simplicity of the subject and presentation.

In my top few. I love how the textures of the grass, trees, and mountains feel painterly without any obvious application of a "painterly" filter.
I'd be interested to know what processing you used and/or see the original for comparison.

As with Marion, ( Jomari) this was one of my top few. A beautiful capture of light, as well as a captivating scene.

Wychmere harbor ~ one of Harwich Port's gems. It's great how from this angle you can appreciate its origins as a deep kettle pond. I was so tickled when I learned that before it was opened up to form a harbor, a track for racing horses and horse drawn carts was built around it.

My mind goes to the world of print making. Love the palette, the layers, and the combination/justaposition of horizontal and vertical elements.
