Peel + B4by redfigComment: I think this is the best fruit photo in this challenge. The colours are lovely. The composition is a bit too busy though. Perhaps you went in just a teeny bit too tight. |

Droplet to Poolby FrooberComment: Yet another water droplet photo..... It's a really good one though! I love the simplicity of it, and in this case central composition works. The plate and the table have a Japanese feel to me. I'll have to give it 10 for being so zen! |

ABC bubble-gumby justineComment: This is very well photographed to be reminiscent of childhood. Nice and colourful, and tightly composed. The soft shadows are lovely, so is the shallow DOF. But.... it's chewed gum! Bleh! |

Beer for... and Afterby tfarrell23Comment: Cool filtering. Was it done with despeckle? It makes it seem like a watercolour illustration. The lines and colours in this are nice and bold. I really like it. |

Recycleby AntithesisComment: The composition of this is a little dull. A closer crop could have been better. A lot of the glass is in shadow, which makes it hard to distinguish from the dark background. Some more lighting from the left or front could have helped. |

weekday to weekend (cover one half and then the other)by tomzinhoComment: Cool idea... but the lighting is far too stark and the photo has little tonal depth. It needs more contrast, but if you do that, the jacket on the right will be indistinguishable from the background. I think you should have used a white background or maybe grey, and not used front lighting (is it the flash?). |

Blonde and Blue????by boyte1Comment: I like this photo for being full of character. The composition is a little confusing because of the compeition between the girl's eyes and the photo for attention. But overall, I like it. |

I've Bean Latte'd!!by smellyfish1002Comment: The title is a bit cheesy, but I love the composition and camera angle here. The swirl in the beans is gorgeous. The lighting is very warm, somehow it really conjures the smell of coffee to me. The only thing I don't like is that it's yet another bloody Starbucks reference... why is that brand name so common on this site? I'm glad we've managed to escape Starbuckisation in my country so far! |

Roast, Grind, Brew and Enjoy!by DougPazComment: This photo effectively shows the process of making coffee, but I think there is too much in it to have a high impact. It's more of a diagram, something that could illustrate a page in a book on coffee making or something. It's well photographed, but not appealing. |

Growing Up by jenaromComment: Nice idea, beautifully executed. That baby's skin just glows! The composition is masterful, especially the way the baby's feet are not in line with the adult's. If they were, all the life would be leeched out of the photo. As they are, the subtle difference makes it live. I have to give it 10. |
