Poles Apartby jomariComment: This reminds me of the fractal designs created with a program like Apophysis (I have a few in the same portfolio folder as the F/B). Nice effect pasting in the small version -- I've tried that once or twice too -- works well with this image. |

6953by pixelpigComment: I also like the curvy shapes and soft colors.
I'm a little unclear on your method description though -- if you paste something in, without changing the blending mode to something other than "Normal," don't you just see the topmost layer? Or do you reduce the opacity without changing the blend mode? |

Impressionismby BrennanOBComment: Hmmm ... I think I know where to find one of these things -- I'll have to keep it in mind as a future photo subject. Good idea! |

Blackbird & Orange Berriesby SteveJComment: I remember as a kid we had Pyracantha bushes in the yard; the berries fermented on the bush, and the robins who ate them would get pretty wobbly. |

Storm at Sunsetby QikiComment: Very nice maintaining detail in both the puffy clouds and the foreground. |

245_4506-Viking by sfaliceComment: I'm really starting to like these ones which end up less symmetrical.
This reminds me of a flowering bosai inside a spherical terrarium -- beautiful.
I have a couple of pictures of birds atop a pole just waiting for processing -- I should see how close I can end up to this one! ;-) |

B e h i n dby phloverComment: Very nice -- I often try to shoot scenes in car mirrors. Especially good getting the reflection of the clouds in the windows ... |

Has God Flatlined?by AbraComment: Actually, the little "blips" in the contrail come eerily close to following the pattern of a typical EKG tracing -- I'll try to find a sample when the challenge is over to post for comparison. Perhaps you've uncovered a Great Truth without realizing it ... ;-) |
