Weathering the Storm by ChiquiComment: Like the context of the photo. Exposure is just right to give the scene some drama of the stormy river against the city back drop and the subject soaking it in. |

The Making of an Avalanche by MargaretNetComment: Congrats on the blue. Thanks for adding the notes. Gondola vantage point never occurred to me. I thought maybe you had hiked to a higher peak... Again congrats. Beautiful shot. |

The Making of an Avalanche by MargaretNetComment: Nice S curves. Very clean. Nothing like seeing untouched snow. Hope you include notes on where and how you got here; always like the back story to a photo. Yeah, this is a 10. |

No Parkingby clickodakComment: I actually like the use of tilt in this photo. Like the leading lines of the cars coupled with the canopy of the trees. It draws me in to the other end of the "tunnel". |

Old Time Barber Shopby clickodakComment: I like the leading lines and the repetition. However, I wonder if a lower angle and maybe customer and barber in maybe the third or fourth chair would have given this more impact. But that's my perspective...Still one of photos in this challenge that draw me in the most. |

Imminent Arrival by giantmikeComment: Okay, this is cool. My top pick so far. I like the minimalist of the composition. Like the B&W presentation. Has a somber fall/winter feel, but not ominous.
Looking at this longer, I think it strikes me because it feels familiar working those odd hours and driving home when no one else is on the road except that occasional car or lights from a business "over yonder."
Hope this does well for you. |
