58 secondsby npaselComment: I hate to comment on images like this because if a little more thought had gone into it, it could have been a real contender - there is a lot of potential here - a little longer lens, maybe a different angle, different crop, etc. |

All is Quiet on New Year's Dayby mrbig65Comment: Another great example of Modern Expressionism and the conversion is perfect. I'm sure this probably won't score high, but I'm giving it a ten because it's something that is right down the middle of the plate as far as I'm concerned. |

firing up the vortex by GilesComment: I've looked and looked and looked at this and I just don't like it. However, I'm not one to let personal opinion get in the way of a technically interesting image. Being fair is more important than personal opinion and from a technical standpoint, this is a great capture. |

Star Fireworkby MrJearComment: From a technical standpoint, this is a very good capture. From an interest standpoint - meh. |

Puente Ra riverby DarkpixelComment: I have in the past, and in other venues, complained mightly about the over use of the "flowing water" technique. It just seems to pedestrian - like sunrises and sunsets - everybody takes them and they happen often enough to become ordinary. In this case though, it wasn't over used. The slight view of the creek bottom under the water flow is a plus and the overall impact is pleasing. A good job and a slightly different approach to a common technique. |

Girlsby PennyStreetComment: Too little definition to make this an outstanding image and I think the conversion was over done. |

Midnight Snowfallby Bear_MusicComment: A solid HDR type of image with two irritating flaws - the ghost branches on the left and right. The eye goes right to them which detracts from the over all impact of the image. |

Bay-pilesby nygoldComment: A very gentle picture - about the only way I can describe it. Interesting how the pilings kind of fade into the distance. The little white "flare" in the middle of the pilings is rather distracting, although I know what caused that. A solid effort. |

Let Rush 'Hour' Commenceby MikeWComment: Cool - I've been there. Ok,now that the pleasantries are over with... :>)
This is a great idea and frankly a little more definition with fewer cars would have been better frankly - the "ghost" images just look like a jumbled mess. |
