Summersetby MQuinnComment: I hate major single color images because I have never been able to capture one as nicely as this. I really like the perfect sun which is right on the edge of blowing out into white space. Framing is perfect, composition is perfect and captures the peaceful mood of a perfect day. Well done. |

Whirled Wide Webby NeilComment: I'm sitting here at my desk and banging my head against the keyboard because all the wonderful images in this challenge make me feel horribly inadequate. :>) I'm running out of positive things to say - I'm going to have to start repeating myself. Perfect composition, the fish eye look enhances the overall impact of the image, very subtle color, almost an HDR look to it. Very nice capture and composition. Well done. |

Rhapsody in Blueby tvsometimeComment: There was an artist named Gustav Klimt who was an Austrian symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession Movement during the late 19th, early 20th Centuries. Klimt loved to create ambiguous imagery with simple tones and colors which in a way reflected the movement's avoidance of the conservative historicism of Germany and Austrian painters. This is very similar to that concept in that the contrasts between the blue and white and the variability of the color fit the Movement major players style. And I like this a lot because I'm an abstract photographer at heart and love the genre like no other I have done. I really, really like this and wish I could give it a 20 or 30, but I'll have to settle for a 10. Well done. |

Ghosts of Viennaby ecmguyComment: Perfect conversion - crisp and sharp, the over all effect is of an early 20th century black and white glass plate exposure - can't say anything critical about this image other than I hate you for creating a perfect image. :>) |

A Little Off the Backby KenComment: I've seen barbershop images that were very sterile looking, but this has a real home town "feel" to it. Again, the simplistic color schema works very well, the imagery of a practical place to hang and chat is present, football game on the screen, clearly a "man cave" of a sort - this is a terrific image. Can't say enough about it. Well done. |

Look to the Heavensby izadoodleComment: Maybe what I should do is just keep hitting the ten selection and just give up commenting. :>)
Wow - this is very realistic, incredibly detailed, subtle variation and hints of very slight color, excellent composition - damn, this is good. Another Top Ten contender for sure. |

Ballerina at Homeby eriksawayaComment: I'm serious - I'm giving up - gonna throw all my cameras in the trash and take up a different hobby. :>)
Wonderful concept, complimentary soft colors, over all effect is one of fantasy which, curiously enough, is what ballet is all about. Very good - a favorite of mine for sure and I hope a Top Ten - if not a Top Three. Well done. |

Pilgrimageby bassboneComment: Sometimes you run into images that just seem too perfect. In this case, the rather subdued great hall is broken up by the Monks color in a perfect candid pose. Damn this is a good one - certainly a contender for Winner and/or Top Three. |
