You're going to hate me for this comment, but there is one significant flaw and unfortunately it's right smack dab in the middle of the image - the dark eye. Sadly, when you see one flaw, you automatically look for others and there is one - top of the nose. I originally thought it might be a speck of dirt on my monitor, but it's not. Other than those two things, this is a spectacular image - just as you would expect for a wedding picture.

Too much light, not enough detail to really rate it higher. I do like the colored light effect on the water - the whites seem to be just over the edge of blown out - a little less heat on the white would have been better I think. Still, the overall effect is pleasing - a good entry into the challenge.

This is a great image if only for the mystery - above the cloud deck or is that surface fog? Really like the contrast between the blue and the earth tones. Very nice entry into the challenge - well done.

Nicely composed image, but it's a fairly standard wedding image - there is nothing particularly spectacular about it. Still, it is competent and there is truly nothing technical to complain about.

THE ROAD TO NOWHERE

An image that takes some time to look at and evaluate. On a personal level, it has a lot going for it. There is an almost 3D depth to this that is quite remarkable - almost like a green screen shot from a fantasy epic movie. I also like the way the greens and earth tones are handled in this. It's a brilliant image if you take the time and really look at it - some may not have the patience. Its one of those images where the WOW factor doesn't come into play - it's a contemplative piece much like a En plein air painting. I like this a lot. Well done.
