Cellar Dwellerby CuttoothComment: There is something really creepy about these Cyclops images. In this case, it's very creepy which makes it a great concept and composition. Very nicely done. |

Internal Conflictby dtremainComment: There is a concept in psychology called postural mirror-image mirroring which occurs when one person's left side "matches" the other person's right side showing strong rapport and typically affinity or empathy and increasing synchronicity with someone. This is a great image that reflects that concept perfectly. An excellent entry. Well done. |

a world for saleby jmritzComment: Terrific conversion to gray scale. Very subtle lighting and accents - love the fades on the central image. A very worthy entry into the challenge - well done. |

Heart of the amaryllisby hajekaComment: Another interesting abstract - very impressionist is concept and execution. The lighting appears to be perfect with no over done color or white space. A really nice image. |

always look on the bright sideby whiteroomComment: This is one of those images where a reviewer can be a real ass or can be honest in evaluating it's merits - a good news, bad news kind of thing. So, the good news is that from an artistic standpoint, it is a very good composition. From a technical standpoint, it doesn't quite make the grade. The juxtaposition of the two skeletons is flawed at the bottom and top of the image which creates a false impression of sloppy post processing. I know what the author was trying to convey, but it just doesn't work - for me that is. Others may differ. But to be fair, it's worth a 7 because of the effort to create it and it's artistic merit. |

mr decaffeinatoby mrbig65Comment: One of the problems is that there are so many images in this challenge that just jump out at you, this one takes some time to properly parse. Very Rorschach in concept - you stare at it for a while and it begins to make sense. A pretty good entry into the challenge. |

The Craneby NikonJebComment: I've said before that I'm not a big fan of HDR, but this is a terrific example of how to do it right. Very symmetrical with lots of detail. Great color tonality and detail. Very nicely done. |

Angry King Applefishby colorcarnivalComment: I love it - I'm a huge fan of abstract color imagery, in particular the types of weird shapes one can get playing with reverse images. This is absolutely beautiful - gorgeous. Probably not to everyone's taste, but hey - that's what makes the world go 'round. Well done. |
