I don't think you've done anything wrong in the actual execution of the shot, it's just that the subject matter isn't particularly outstanding.

I'm not sure if you meant this, but to me the crackers look like a little man lying on his side holding the banner!

Nice idea. Don't know if the fully green background is the right choice though, unless you're going with a Christmas theme with the red and green!

The colours seem just a touch flat, again, it might be the green, or just something that could have been sorted out in PP.

Funny, I was thinking of doing something on sleeping as well, couldn't think of a way to present it though, which you have pulled off successfully.

Good creative idea and nice presentation. I almost always mark shots down for partial desaturation, but I think this is actually one of the rare examples of it that actually works, well done!

A classic DPC shot. I like the fact you have one colour in each drop though, certainly makes it stand out from your run of the mill water drop shots.

I like the stances of the little guys. It doesn't really feel like 'Blue' is in the spotlight, rather it seems more like you just didn't light the right side properly.

Cool shot, though I don't really see how the two fit together.

Still, you have a nice blue ribbon there, and a nice spider to go with it. This shot itself is nice enough, just a little disjointed for me.

There are, but this was a challenge specifically about the DPC ribbons.

Since you've kinda kept it on theme, I'm going to judge the shot as well. It's a well lit, well presented shot, but it's not outstanding in any way, it feels more like a record keeping shot of the event than something 'photographic' if you see what I mean.
