Picture lacks excitement or something. Too much brownish tones for me. One thing that I do see is the steam rising from the soup? Lower lighting and a black background with just the soup with the steam could have been really nice.

I like the table, but the lighting isn't strong enough for it. Should have played with the food a little to have a stronger presentation. Maybe through some fresh vegetables (other than the cucumber slices)on or around it.

Concentrate more on the food. Crop out the computer? under the table/desk. Maybe take the shot to the front and drop down to a lower angle so that you can use the yellow wall as a nice bacground. The fireplace is too much of a distraction.

I would drop the hat, lose the beer and the margarine, and iron the shirt. I like how the rolls or whatever that is in the foreground looks. I would have like to have seen more of the cello? in the shot and maybe a little more refined look. Also would have panned to the left some to omit the white curtain in the background.

Would have cropped a little off the bottom so that the bottom edge is almost at the plate level. I would have also used a shallower DOF so that everything behind the knives was blurry. Also would have moved the front wine glass a little more off center. Unfortunately the knives blend in with the background due to the lines in the window and the darkness in the bushes.

Another idea would be to take the plate out of the shot and move the turkey platter to the right and the front wine glass to the left.

Great shot with great color. The picture flows from table design to plate design to olive to fork. I am not onboard with the feast part, but I do have a justification for it. This may or may not have been your intention, but I think that you could justify it by saying that the olive is a feast for the flower that looks as though it is about to consume it.

Really cute photo...one of my favorites. Nothing about a feast though.

Thanks for using a clean stove for the picture. My suggestions:
I would have cropped the photo on the left so that the edge would line up with the furthest tip of the upper left leaf in the blue square of the pot holder. I would have also cropped the bottom of the photo to the furthest point on the bottom of the black line at the bottom of the pot holder. I might have thrown a couple of fresh cranberries in the mix to pull your eye back into the dish and counteract the vibrant colors in the pot holder.
