Predatory Instinct by joshuamliComment: Great capture of the growling tiger. Looks like it's warning you to stay away from it's meal. The slight blurred face puts you in the action. The eyes were captured beautifully and help to give the emotion of the beast. |

Lighting is almost perfect, just a touch on the rightside cheek.Texture of the hair is incredible. You can almost feel the softness. The eyes are incredible and really shows the emotion and feeling of the chimp. This is the winner. |

Elephant Seal greets her newborn pupby sfaliceComment: Incredible closeup of a tender family moment in the animals' life. This is what NG is about. You can almost feel the smoothness of the seals skin. The texture of the sand on the seals body gives a feeling of grittyness. Excellently captured. |
