The shape of the heart formed with fire really makes for an interesting composition. The black background really helps to make the great hues in the flames to pop out of the shot. Simple design. I love it. "10"

I think a vertical crop may work better with this subject. Currently seems like too much negative space. Really like seeing the wood grain of the table. "9"

I think a closer crop of the face would work a lot better. The area of the shoulder with the red is what you focus on because of the color. Cropping this out would bring the focus back to the glasses. Otherwise good concept. Fire looks good on the lens and the highlights on the rim is interesting.

The Fire In Her Eyes

Having both eyes in the composition takes away from the composition. The fire is quite small to make out. Focusing on 1 eye would give the viewer a closer look at the eye and thus the flame. Currently the slanted composition is fairly interesting and is still good. The b&w combined with the touch of color for the fire is good. "8"

Very bold silhouette. Works very well with the frame. The sky color really help to push the colors of the fire forward and makes it pop out of the shot. Abstract, form, colors , little bit of everything. "10"

Premature Illumination

Great closeup of the match. Incredible details. The flame has a brilliant, vibrant color. The black background really helps to set the subject and the bakcground apart. Quite a bit of negative space. I believe cropping a bit off of the left would make it a better composition, but that's minor. "10"
