This image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)

Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 9s - I like it very much. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Huge fun!
2. Glorious colours.
3. Excellent timing.
4. Great goats!
5. Lovely model.

Overall, a wondrous conflation of circumstance. Excellent result.

This is one of my 10s (I just bumped it from a 9) - I like it very much. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Horse pictures normally leave me cold, but this one is special.
2. The extraordinary use of a deep depth of field. Inspired.
3. The mixed use of high and low contrast, from bottom left to top right.
4. The Icelandic feel!
5. The communication of a physical context - the image is placed in the world, and with that us too as the viewer.
6. That telegraph pole top right - it offers much in terms of offering scale and depth.

Overall, this is magnificent.

1. Superb use of high contrast - possibly the best I have ever seen.
2. Bold and effective composition. I'd have cropped some of the top. I'd have also been wrong to do so.
3. Supreme clarity - the new size put to good effect!
4. The hint of the black wall to the left.
5. The candour of the capture.

I actually regard this as a perfect photograph. A rare and beautiful thing.

Awarded for this landmark challenge.

1. Simply a great catch - them against the decaying figure on the wall.
2. Brilliantly exposed, with perfect toning.
3. The dynamism of your subjects - not just their walking but how they are socially active as a trio.
4. The contra directional arrow.
5. The perfectly judged vignette.
6. The shadows - theirs and the one on the wall to the extreme right.

Brilliant stuff.

Bold and precise with a little ambiguity thrown in. I can see the influence but feel you could have 'dialled it up' a bit. A healthy 7 nonetheless.

Like a lounge wall - I like the outdoor/indoor feel - the texture lends a notion of wallpaper. Very pretty image.
