In the eye of the beholderby sdollmeComment by raish: Die the hair dark before you do this kind of shot. Really that's elementary photography...
OK that was a feeble joke. Even so, while the eye is (very) good, I think it's just too much off to one side while the rest of the picture is washed out. I know it has to be washed out on account of the overexposure, but I think it's a composition thing - the white out left is perhaps unnecessary and you could maybe have done a little juggling, bringing the iris onto a thirds conjunction.
Great impact in a small section of the picture :) |

A dappled dancer...by sdollmeComment by timwest167: Good composition, great perspective and intersting to look at. I can see this being quite popular with the less 'mainstream' viewer. Well done! |

A dappled dancer...by sdollmeComment by canary: Nice retro feel to this shot. Would like to have seen a richer black as the red tinge detracts from the atmosphere a little, but thats just me. Nice shot. |

A dappled dancer...by sdollmeComment by rennie: At first I wanted to say its softness disturbs. Now, I think it adds to the picture a retro and nostalgic feel. It is one of these pictures, where you can't tell when it was made, what year, which century. It leaves a lot to viewer imagination. I like it a lot. |
