This could have done well in the currently running Minimalism challenge. This shot is both minimalist, and the main subject is small. I like the way the water fills the frame, the textures and tonal transitions are yummy, and so is the overall dusky feel.

If not for the title, I would not have thought that that's ice on the little stick, so the idea of the winter's entrance is not working for me in this photograph. 8

I love this image - As a fisherman it couldn't be better - The smooth ripples and the exposure is great - Is it pushing the "Entrance" theme? Maybe just a bit but I do love it. Well done

This is my favourite so far. I love what you have in the top right of the picture - very nice use of transparency. Critically speaking I think the framing could have been better. I would like to see more of what's right of the picture. Also the oversaturation breakup spoils it a bit.
