A Little Girl (from the 1800s)by awpollardComment by Phocal: All of the stuff in the background is distracting and you chopped of the front of the grave. That makes my eyes wander down and try to figure out what the beginning looks like. A different angle that possibly could cut out that sign we can not read would have really helped as well as a larger aperture to help blur out the background more. |

A Little Girl (from the 1800s)by awpollardComment by BrennanOB: overall the image seems a bit cluttered. the pastel tones of the toys and the marker are strong, but the two informational plaques on the left that I can not read don't add any value. Closer in, further back? there are the bones of a solid shot here, but many distractions that pull the eye here and there. |

A Little Girl (from the 1800s)by awpollardComment by quiche: That's quite an assemblage of colorful stuff for a girl long dead. Maybe shooting from a lower angle up toward the grave marker, with the colorful stuff forming a prominent foreground, might make the shot even more interesting. |

Right where he left them!by awpollardComment by jimbone: Those thing look like they need some fresh air. Cool subject, you might have tried it but I would have considered going black and white so the green vegetation did not distract from the main subject. |
