Atlasby thebone123Comment by Dave Gordon: Nice shot of the statue. A closer vantage point and steeper upward angle might have emphasized the sense of power more. And IMHO a tall, narrow crop would also emphasize the strength represented by this statue. |

Atlasby thebone123Comment by jpochard: Certainly a symbol of strength. I think the composition on this one could be much better, and the focus seems a little bit off. For the composition, I would have preferred more of a portrait orientation, with less space left and right. Others may disagree, but I would also have tried to center the statue a little more with the two columns of cement behind it. A slight boost in contrast would also be helpful I think. |

Atlasby thebone123Comment by skief: Seems leaned to the left and slightly off center (maybe just the building), would like to see more details in Atlas' Face, and maybe a polarizing filter to remove the reflections off the windows. |

Atlasby thebone123Comment by tomzinho: i think b&w might have made this a more powerful shot (as there really isn't much color anyway) and would have brought out more contrast with the subject. |

Atlasby thebone123Comment by Andrew Latham: like your choice, although I feel a different angle (closer up and from the side for example) would have been more powerful

Peace & Quietby thebone123Comment by gpierson: this is technically a good shot but colors are a little dull. I think this same shot would be nice if he were laying on white paper or something to simplify your main idea which is the headphones unplugged |
