Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge, but this one doesn't say simplicity to me very loudly. Exposure composition focus lighting all good, the combination of the DOF, perspective and lighting all give it a certain "look" that is very interesting and almost rock video-ish.

Personal: I like the shot, but I don't identify it with the challenge theme.

Neat idea; love the color contrasts. I think it would be more dynamic without the curve at the top; really emphasizes the perspective and colors there, and ... much simpler!

I love the contrast but I'm having a little problem finding a point of focus. And it appears to be a little grainy on the left side of the sponge... is this taken in a digital zoom?

Great colors and depth-of-field. Not so sure about the general feel of it... too many bubbles to be simple? Too much texture? Not sure... but I like.
