From a technical standpoint, this is less effective that it could be. From an artistic standpoint, it's rather bland and uninviting to the viewer. Sometimes an image is just an image. A good effort falling short in the artistic and technical sense. A little more thought with respect to lighting conditions and how it affects the subject matter would have helped.
