	Apples in Paradise by arisafari Comment by molinski4611: Direct on camera flash. That's the first thing I notice when I see those shadows. If you're going to take the time setting up a nice shot like this, google DIY diffusers for your camera, a 25cent piece of something can do wonders.

	Apples in Paradise by arisafari Comment by andrewt: Try experimenting with different lighting methods. I would recommend both frontal lighting (as you have done here) and bounced top lighting to reduce the shadows.
