I like this one a lot. I would like to see it cropped a little more closely. The sidewalk in the foreground is distracting and takes away from the subject. I would move that bottom crop up to just below the planter on the left, and take just a little bit off the top as well. Otherwise, I like it!

I can't decide whether or not the underexposed foreground needs to be there. I think something should be there to maintain the aspect of the shot, but the concrete pavement detracts.

Pears are a great subject to turn to when doing still life. I'd like to see softer lighting though to really bring out the shape. Another thing that might make this stand out more is if you could lighten the background more, or somehow make the pears stand out more from their surroundings. (comment only)

Very well done. I love that you were able to include the location, which gives much more of a sense of summer than any food could! Great balance between the direct sun and shade. The only thing I might change would be to white balance for the shade, since food looks tastier when the color cast is warmer rather than cool. Not docking points for that though.
