Hidden Gem -- 1,000th Challenge!

Description
DPChallenge is celebrating its 1000th challenge, and it's time to look back at our photographic legacy. Dig through your archives and show us the best photo you've ever taken with a digital camera. It might be an outtake, a side challenge photo, or even a great shot you took before you joined. Anything you haven't already entered in a challenge is fair game, but you must have the original with valid EXIF data available for validation.
Oh, and while you're at it, why not browse through past challenges and mark a few favorites from your fellow DPCers? You might just discover a hidden gem!

This challenge has no date restrictions, and is running under the Advanced rule set.
Disqualification Message: Composites: You may not post-process your entry from or to include elements of multiple images, multiple exposures, clip art, computer-rendered images, or elements from other photographs. Please review the challenge submission rules.
Disqualification Message: You must retain your original, unedited file (exactly as recorded by your camera), and provide it to the Site Council along with a list of your editing steps within 48 hours of any validation request. Files that have been saved or altered with any editing or transfer software are NOT originals.

You must retain your original, unedited file (exactly as recorded by your camera), and provide it to the Site Council along with a list of your editing steps within 48 hours of any validation request. Files that have been saved or altered with any editing or transfer software are NOT originals. You may not use ANY editing tool to create new image area, objects or features (such as lens flare or motion) that didn't already exist in your original capture. Please review the challenge rules carefully!
Disqualification Message: You may not use ANY editing tool to move, remove or duplicate any element of your photograph that would change a typical viewer's description of the photograph (aside from color), even if the tool is otherwise legal, and regardless of whether you intended the change when the photograph was taken. Also, your JPG was tagged with Lightroom software.
