I don't often get out this rather fabulous lens I acquired a year or so ago. But this afternoon it seemed to be a fun thing to do. Let's see how it scores. Doesn't matter, really, because it was interesting to see how it works.

My "model" came (I think) from The Bone Room in Albany, CA, near Oakland. Gorgeous critter - I have no idea what name this very tiny insect has. S/he is perched on a cork coaster. And that's a story in itself.

Very wonderful macro. Good detail where it counts. No points off, but I'd be worried if this was really inside your house.

Great shot, but I can't help but wonder if others are voting low since one doesn't not generally associate bugs as in indoor item. (Don't worry, I didn't think that way, I have plenty of bugs in my house, mostly spiders :-)
