To say the truth, I lied to you : for this photo I made the minimum noise as possible because I was alone in an abandonned warehouse with all my stuff...
About the motion blur, I wanted initially to get a super sharp photo but it was fun to play with the movement. After few shots, the battery of my RC was down so I came back home and after looking at the photos, I loved this one and decided to enter it.

About the centered composition, here is another crop ... but I find the one I entered more energic. Question of taste ?

Merci beaucoup John. ;)

There is four problems with this shot ... in a DPC challenge :
- the motion blur
- washed colors
- centered composition
- the max height size : here is a larger size which puts the viewer in a closer view
another one is the missing jack to connect the guitar :D

For this one, I really don't care about the challenge result ... because I was happy to create it !
Thanks for the comments, everyone who liked and everyone who disliked it. ;)

My Favorite in the challenge, i honestly thought this would surely win, didn't deserve a sub 6 score.

I really like this one. Best of the group in my opinion. The only thing I would change would be to place the subject closer to the left of the shot rather than centered.

I like how its focused in the back, but my eye keeps coming back to the guitarist. Well done!

Cool shot. The graffiti is a neat background.

Nicely done. I'm not normally a fan of the blurred motion, but in this photo it really conveys the energy of the player.

Reminds me of Saturday Nights Live performance. Those actors of improve extraordinaire have a few things they could learn from you. Way too weird for me to comment other than stop making all that noise. Your giving me a headache. And here I was looking to more noise in the calm and subtle entries that I've rated so far. I take it back. Give me some quiet noise form now on. Good entry. There is no mistaking that wide open mouth for anything other than sound, sound and sound. Body too centered in the photo could have been sweeter to one side. The color seemed a little off but I could be falling to the spell of rock and metalic roll. Good luck.

I like the shot, maybe a left side crop would make this pop as little more, nice job
