I wonder if this would work better with the shoes in focus and the window being blurry. I still like this image regardless. 8

2nd look...stirs the imagination...I hear the last few drips from the trees, feel a gentle cool breeze through the open window, and smell the drying shoes. Think I'll bump the score a bit.

I understand where you were going, but I feel the photo could have have more of a message if the shoes themselves were in focus. That way, we could see how soaked they really are.

This is a different take on the challenge idea. I really like the blurred foreground. This is nice. It has a winsome feel of it.

Ohh man, another "weather" image with nothing weathered in sight, except perhaps the shoes, but that's a real stretch.. Just because the shoes are there you're getting a 3, but it would have been a 1 without them, and perhaps more if they were really the subject..
