I figured this has to be you, and I was right :-) One of my 10's. Faceless feets, faithful rendering, and the arrow just makes the image, a grace note par excellence. Ridiculously low score, my sympathies.

funny. it's almost like the dog did not follow directions and strayed from the arrow.

Love this. She is in sync with the arrow. Don't know what to think of the dog! Good stuff. 8

8 - Nicely seen (even in pp) juxtapositions. Good 'elements'.

So funny. Parts of everything all rolled into one.

This is my sort of shot! It's one of those really strange ones where there's a whole lot of seemingly unconnected things going on but in some strange way are all related.

Each item in this shot has it's own interest, and for me I keep coming back to the arrow, what does it represent, who drew it there, what it is pointing to / from? The fact that it leads backwards to a dogs rear end is funny.

I want to think that the dog has stopped at a drinking fountain. The arrow is to help him find his way home.

This is my favorite---sure to be buried in obscurity on page 8, but i hope not!

Neat street shot. The missing parts of the body give it an edgy feel.

I have no idea why I like this other than the missing heads of all the subjects. Strange. On second thought I like the patterns and textures of the bricks. I probably would have cloned out your subject ("one") and the extra feet at top and you wouldn't have liked it nearly as good, and I would have liked it a little better...

This is my most favourite image in the challenge. Like a few other images, I initially gave it an 8 but am bumping it to 10... I'd give it 11 if I was allowed to. This is a brilliant work of art, and I'm not blowing smoke up your arse. I just can't put in words enough how much I love this.

One dog bottom. Bizarre picture, an arrow pointing the dog in the direction that Carmen Sandiego, I like it.

Normally I would rate shots like this low , but I like this shot. For some reason , the elements fall in place nicely with the post processing of this shot. Cool , 7

The excellent balance of B&W tones just helps the audience's eyes pay attention to the details and objects in this scene. There is the static (the unmoving dog standing) and movement (the person in midwalk blurred due to motion). Objects at rest and objects in motion. There is the subtle cue of direction as well - the chalk arrow on the brick walk. The object in motion is moving/following the direction it points too. Also interesting in the pattern matching is that we only see the bottom portions of these two main subjects - identity is unknown for we do not have the identifying features of the face/head. Then there is the "One" that is captured in the scene - part of the address of the building, the one dog in the scene, or the one person we see dominating the foreground of this composition? Or perhaps it refers to the one 'portion' I get to see of this scene to make or draw impressions from. Very artsy and has very much a feel of a cinematic still from a movie. Nice work!

An interesting image and a number of interesting elements in it. The dog, the edge of the side, the legs in the top of the image, the chalk arrow. Even the main subject being cropped, and being the only part of the image that is not sharp. Not sure about the border either

Well, you've done it. You have made me sit and contemplate this for quite a while. While I can't picture it hanging on my wall, I find it well done and strangely interesting in a weird random sort of way. All I can say is above average. Thanks for making me think.
