I knew I was taking a huge chance on this one, but I kinda hoped it would do a little better too... LOL... OH well, we both know how it goes.. on to the next one.. :-)

I'm really surprised that this placed in the low 5's. I had it nailed for a high 5 or low 6. It got an 8 from me.

This shot would have worked a lot better had you used a smaller aperture and got more in not all of the background in focus. Being that it's a landscape challenge you are taking the focus off that by having the foreground cow in focus and it really distracts from what's going on in the rest of the photo. Good luck!

For a landscape, I generally like to see a pretty deep DOF.
