Ahh, now this is how you SHOULD use a lensbaby. I usually take an instant dislike to lensbaby shots, but I really like this one.

Love this shot Deb! Life is such a blur but there is always time for friends, time to stand still and enjoy the best things in life.

Here the blur and movement of said blur conjures a story if imagination allows. I like to think it's a meeting taken with a doppelganger, something that should of course only occur in a public place such as a bar, a diner, a train station due to their sometimes treacherous and unpredictable ways.

hehe, started my comment by saying my first thought was to go B&W then I thought the subdued colour works really well. then I read the earlier comments and guess I was a bit late lol.

I think the LB would stop this (and other) shots being social history works but hey, imho the LB turns an ok shot into an image that can tell stories.

Lovely shapes, lovely color tones, and again so sneaky.

I like all the silhouettes here, a nice graphic impact.

OOh what a combination, station and lenbsbaby. Can't go wrong with that I think.

You find the coolest places to shoot.

I like the overall "mood" of the pic. I agree with the others, the bits of color add life to it.

I also think that keeping the colours was a good choice, I can clearly see these hanging lamps jumping all over the place.

Excellent as always. I was tempted to ask why not black and white, but I think the color gives it some warmth and keeps it from being too sterile and/or abstract.

Those European train stations really create some amazing tones and contrasts. Not to minimize this photo, but I simply love almost every photo you've taken in those stations.

Nice use of your lensbaby - and I always enjoy the Platinotype action :- )

This manages to convey a real feeling of depth and intimacy at the same time - which is pretty impressive . .

The lensbaby and the fact that we visually start the picture before the couple . . then carry on past them out the doors into the open gives the depth, and the fact the whole place is gloriously empty except for two people facing each other gives the intimacy.

Very nice - heck to use an Americanism . .

"that's pretty neat"
