The lighting lacks drama for this set-up. There is an overall flat quality to the image. To imrove this, have your model stand a bit further away and use a supplemental light aimed at the background. Move it around untill you get a pleasing shadow on the background. This separates the subject from the background. There is a bit to much blue cast.
As a set-up it works pretty well. The top of the banana is a bit out of focus, or perhaps there just isn't enough contrast between the background and the edge of the banana. |

If you'd left the banana yellow in this B&W shot I'd have liked it better. |

I like the idea, personally I would have gone for bit more depth of field |
