I like this shot Lisa, although it didn't fit within the challenge description, and the voters trashed it, it's still a cool image. I am wondering how you got that effect, sort of like posterized.
I think maybe I like it because it reminds me of Cat Island, in the Bahamas. There are a lot of small, abandoned stone buildings among Spanish Sword plants there. |

| Interesting take on the challenge. This seems very noisy and pixelated, though. Plus I am not discerning an illuminated subject really. The composition seems well placed, though, and I do like the swordlike grasses. |

This is a little grainy, I do not see a picture of the light source.

Challenge description: "Create a photo in which your main light source is also your main subject."
I'm sorry, but the subject of this image, to me, is the rock structure. The light source is the sun. DNMC |

| I scored this a 3 originally due to lack of focus and seems over sharpened. Then I took 2 points off as in my opinion it does not meet the challenge. The light source is supposed to the subject. |

| DNMC in any way, that's my opinion and it's really grainy. Sorry if i was rude, but maybe you are at the wrong challenge. 100 years old would be better for this. |
